Roland Nilsson is borned in Malmö as the 4th generation violinmaker. Roland is educated in the family company by his father Bengt Nilsson and in the violinmaking school in Mittenwald. Except from SVBM is Roland member in following associations: EILA (Internationel Society of Violin and Bowmakers), VDG (Verband Deutscher Geigenbauer)
